I had a 24 year old son missing for a few hours after duck hunting on evening.
A nightmare. I never felt so helpless. But he was found about 9pm almost in shock.
He says God is real. And the 1st rule of his boat is, nobody rides without a pfd.
    That is a good rule

Prayers for all involved. PFD's are required for a reason.

Just wondering(not that it matters) if he had medical problems that caused him to fall into the water?
My buddies blood pressure dropped while fishing a couple years ago and he fell in.
Thank God his brother in law was with him.
Hope his family finds peace and comfort in the Lord during these difficult times.

might just be age related , none of us are as steady at 58 as we were at 20 or 30 , less fleet of footed is the word .
my buds trolling motor took a left as I leaned right last year and it took my back about 3 weeks to get over not falling out of his boat .
boats can be fairly unsteady sometimes for sure .

I don't know. I am a diabetic. Sometimes I do not eat right when fishing and my blood sugar level can drop suddenly to about 30. I become dizzy and disoriented. I never go fishing alone anymore and always have "Emergency" rations, snacks and sodas readily available to raise the blood sugar level back above 120.
