    Default charging battery

Can a 12V, 7 AH, dry cell battery be charged with standard battery charger? Is it okay, or bad idea? and which setting, 2, 8, or 15 AMP.

I charge my 7AH battery with a 2A trickle charger.

The 2 amp setting should do you fine. I have charged those small batteries with a 5amp Minkota portable charger. It is supposed to be self regulating

I do mine on a charger/desulfator on 2A and it works fine.
