I don't have livescope yet but I have a buddy who does. He uses 1/4oz jig heads. I use 3/16oz jig heads with size 2 hooks. I see my jig pretty good with this setup.

I was thinking that maybe a sausage head style jig head would show up better due to it being wide in the front as its slowly being reeled towards you. Am I on the right path? Has anyone tried that?

    Thanks,

Chris, Here is a jig head designed for livescope. I used it yesterday and found that it is easier to see. I was using a 1/16 ounce and could see it as far as I could cast, about 42 feet. As an added benefit it has empty eye sockets to hold crappie nibblets.

Yeah .... I use 1/16oz jigheads and don't have any problem seeing my jigs, especially double jig rigs. The deal is to have them land directly in front of the Livescope beam.
My buddy even has his Livescope tdx tilted up 2 clicks, so he can see the splashdown of his jigs ... just to make sure he's landed them at the proper distance and in line with the cover/fish he's seeing on screen.

PICO, one of the site sponsors, also have a jig designed for livescope. They have foil backed reflective eyes and broader profile to show better on scope.

The Livescope mounts are made for installing on a trolling motor and have a 8 degree tilt. You can buy a mounting bracket with a zero degree mount which makes it easier to put the jig in their face.
