I have both of those rods. They are not designed for the same purpose and i don't believe they should compared side by side.Sent from my E6910 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Chetc…..what’s your budget? Full grips or split?
Chetc ... while you're looking thru the Grizzly Jig catalog ... check out the ESP 6'6" PowerLite rod
BUT .... understand that these rods have micro guides/tip and are not friendly to slip float bobber stops. Also understand that the 6' PowerLite rod is the same length as the 6'6" rod from the tip to the handle. The 6" difference is in the split handle extension of the longer rod. For that matter, I'd say a 7' PowerLite would be a good alternative to the 6'6" rod, unless you don't want the handle extension. The 6' PowerLite rod does not have the extension.
Here's an old pic of the handle on my ESP 6'6" PowerLite to give you perspective.

I will give my full approval on a Bass Pro Micro Lite…..full cork grips, great sensitivity, has no issue casting light jigs, made of full
graphite, can no doubt handle a larger fish should you run into one. I’ve had and fished mine for about 2 years and I’ve had ZERO issues. It flat out does it’s job. The ONLY negative I can say about it, is that it doesn’t have a hook keeper at the base of the grip. That’s it. For $60 I haven’t found a better rod. They make it in 6’6” too. I recommend light/fast for crappie.
