Boat ramps for launching boats

there is good news though to the crew that has to put up with the rude boat ramp behaviors , during the heat stroke summer sun times here in Texas it sometimes happens that you roll up to get off the water at the ramp and both lanes are blocked with a tandem jet ski trailer parked in the middle with several boats including me not really worried about how long it might take the really shapely young gal in the tiny bikini to strap down her 2 jet skis ....

it was show stopper I promise , I wondered why all the boats were sitting in a semi circle at the ramp being so patient when I rolled up and to be quite honest if you saw what we saw your patience level for rude would likely have been on the highly tolerant side too

I don't believe you could consider anyone offering a public service to be considered rude.

A couple of months ago I got to the ramp and a man was there reving up his boat and making an awful racket. After about 10 minutes I walked down and asked if everything was okay. He had came in to the trailer a little hot and jumped the bow eye over the front roller. He asked how I would get it on the right side. I said tou are going to have to back it in farther to get the boat floating more. He was scared to let his teenage boy back it in any more afraid the boy would launch his truck. I got in ad backed him in until he was released and repositioned his trailer. He was in a mess.

she was actually accompanied by a large guy who just stayed in the truck while she did all the work , not sure how he trained her to be so vigilant on the tie down part while he waited in the truck

Several lakes here have loading areas marked off to allow you to load things and untie . Marked off no parking areas in front of ramps . Yahoos park in the spot directly in front of the ramps making backing in more difficult . Does no good to have signs and asphalt marked off . Tickets might help . Some places nothing is done . I found one launch area in a far side of the state they carried it a bit far , Got a warning for trailer tire touching a marked line on parking space .

Cant have it both ways !
