    Default Paraphernalia ticket !

if there was such a thing as a paraphernalia ticket for wearing to much crappie.com apparel on the same day, then yesterday would have been a big ticket for sure
Probably should have expected at least one whale in the mix wearing all that "lucky" apparel and sure enough ,there it was as I was walking away and just standing and chatting with one of the folks over there .
At 15.5 inches long it was a real nice specimen as far as summer fish go for sure . Did i ketch just one you might ask and I would chuckle and say no sir , I managed to ketch 50 plus and it would have been a better number ,but a bass guy who never fished for crappie showed up and wanted a teaching lesson .
Now it was tough to convert a bass person in a short time and he missed about 25 bites before he hooked one , but we had some good laughs watching him miss them and the summer bite is typically so subtle you best be all into it like a hawk to load up on them with a jig .
he finally got a nice one with a limits tackle jig I gave him and right when it came up on the dock he looked up at me and said just this ..... I AM HOOKED !
I laughed some more and explained how it was going to likely get alot worse and that the only short term cure is to keep ketching them as often as you can
    KABOOM is the word

Nothing like a good Ketchn story to start the day off right. Enjoyed, and it sounds like you may have a new convert. We just started our warmer weather up here in SE PA, and yesterday I finally found some beds. Low water and cold temps really put them off this year. We may have a small “class” of fish this year.

note the "dents" on my jig head in this photo ,
a swing and a miss is a fairly normal occurrence on the summer light as a feather bites
