I catch more fish single pole fishing heavy cover on the brightest days with low wind. If it's NIP tide too, wow, I play hooky from everything for that day including muting the cell phone. Using Panoptix to measure to the edge perimeter of the trash pile first, then fishing all the way around before fishing further towards the center. This has produced thousands of quality crappie for me.
