Default Drift paddles or other ideas on high sided boat

I have a 2070 xpress. It's 2' tall sides catch wind like crazy. I have a 40g livewell up front by the deck to add more weight and also an additional battery up there. I can slow it down with chains but sometimes the wind catches it from the side and its a pain to try to still keep in on a straight line. I was wondering if drift paddles would help the front from moving so easily in the wind. Or if anyone has any other ideas other than just buying a lower profile bass boat but think the wife would kill me if I added another boat the shop.

several of the really good tournament guides use drift paddles with great success in these parts.
open water and wind are tough to negotiate when using livescope to chase big fish .
most dont have high sided boats though so i dont know if it works well on them

Drift socks? Batteries in the aft area of a boat can get damaged by pounding they receive, especially in rough conditions. Pontoon boat owners might have a remedy for you they catch a lot of wind also. Good luck finding a system that works for you.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
