    Default Electric filet knife

I know this subject has need discussed in depth. Mine died after 24 great years. What's the latest and greatest? Tried rapala and the new American angler , just doesn't do what I need them to do.

Seems I’ve always had a mister twister. Not sure how long they’ve been around but my most recent is at least 5 yrs old and still going strong. Cost about $30.
I was recently gifted a cordless bubba blade. I think the cost is around $150. I don’t think I’d have bought on my own.
After using I really like it. A little bulky but runs what seems like forever on a charge, a lot of power, and very sharp.
    Just my 2 cents

I use a electric rapala fillet knife for a few years and have had no problems. The wife gave it to me for father's day a few years back and it is still ticking . I still have a couple of the standard rapala fillet knives ,some times I use them if I caught just a few fish instead of getting the electric out.

I've found that you want a 110-120v electric knife, not one of the 12v ones. The 12v just don't have the power that an 120v does.

american angler or bubba blade for me ive got both i like the trigger better on the AA but the grip on the bubba blade is nice. i've heard rapalla has a heavy duty out thats real good but i never tried. i've had bad luck with the mister twisters both the saltwater and freshwater models. just did last very long for me.

I have had an American angler 110 volt for about 8 years. It works great. Bought the cordless Bubba kit about a month ago. It came with 4 different blades and the 2 batteries. It is great not to have to have an outlet nearby.

Mine was a old American Angler. Grey handle red trigger. Stopped the gears cleaning big catfish
