    That's the way I clean mine too. Just a little tip, when you cut down the backbone don't cut all the way through at the tail. Just flip the side over, start at the tail and fillet it off the skin. It's much easier to hold. ☺

    the blad is shown in the photo in the bottom left hand conor . the ribcage is being cut out on the back side of felay
    retired and now i will always fish

    have anyone ever scaled fish in a washingmachine . [ not the wifes machine ]. some one said they saw 2 at a cleaning station at a lake . haven`t tried . planning on if i can catch enough to be worth it. i have a used one in my storage building .
    retired and now i will always fish
