Very, very true for me as well. When I first got my seats I put one on the boat and climbed up in it while at home. My first thoughts were, "this thing is as hard as a rock, no way it's going to be comfortable" but it surely is. Those new plush vinyl seats are soft and comfy, but they kill my back and hips.

Here's a nice upgrade for the Millennium seats.
da chair holdit - Podunk (po dungk) A small isolated town, region, or place that is regarded as unimportant. . . .
You will probably have to shim the back of the seat with washers when you install. Mine leaned back too far and I think I put 3 washers on each rear bolt. Perfect!!

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, but will your regular boat pedestal seats fit into the millennium sidekick?
Yes, they are worth it. My fancy Ranger seats are sitting on the shelf in the garage. Every now and then I put those seats back in the boat for a day of fishing. I quickly remove them once I get back home for the Millenium seats!

I'm wanting to pit it in a Lowe panfish stick steer
