    Do like the fun girls used to, soak them in Hydrogen Peroxide for about 30 minutes.

    After the Peroxide treatment, set them out in the sun. The heat helps accelerate the process.

    My wife reminded me to not use household peroxide in the brown bottle. It's too weak. Get 30 volume peroxide from Sally's beauty supply stores. Use latex gloves to prevent it from burning your hands.
