Call B&M tomorrow and you will probably have a new one by Wed or Thursday. They are fast. You will need the model number found on the but section close to the handle. The phone number is there, too. I have broken my share of tip sections.
Hi Fellows
I bought a new ultralite 2 piece rod. I was crappie fishing and a BIG OLD BASS jumped on my rod and broke the tip end
Can I get a replacement for the tip end section? Seems a shame to trash the whole rod its really nice. It broke where the rods join.
Thanks

Anyone that owns a B&M rod has broken it. I bet tips outsell the rod 2-1. or more

Main reason I useBnM is because I can get replacement tips.

I didn't break the tip. I broke the section where it joins the handle section.Originally Posted by slabbandit

you broke the tip "section" ... and as long as you didn't damage the butt/handle "section", you can get a tip section replacement from BnM.Originally Posted by FIN

Ask for Jack Wells, and give him the model number of the rod.

I was thinking about buying a B"n"M Pole, are they prone to breaking?

do they charge to replace the broken tips?
listen with your eyes---its the only way to beleive what you hear...
I don't want to condemn the rods...but I bought two 11' and had a tip break the second time out. Have 8 other Richard Williams rod's and have absolutely punished them.....never had a tip break.
