My line came today and it feels the same as the "old" line. I did not take a pair of calipers to measure it though.
It may be a bit limper but it is hard to tell as my "old" line is really old (if you know what I mean).

A difference of a few hundredths of a millimeter would be hard to detect with just your fingers.
