I'm originally from Florida and I remember some outstanding crappie fishin. Here are some places to try besides lake O.

1. Fisheating Creek (in Palmdale)
2. The Stick Marsh in Feldsmere (near Sebastion)
3. Lake Trafford (Immokalee)
4. Harney Pond Canal (Lakeport)
5. any of the canals in the Glades.

Venting is good especially when you have to outswim all the sharks down there looking for an easy meal.

Crappie fishing is excellent as well as great table wear. I have fished Perdido and Fort Walton Beach. As for me and my house, I will have a Crappie Day. any day.


God made Florida for vacationing. He made Crappie for fishing.

you have more oppurtunities than i have, they drain most of the lakes for flood control in pa, and i really dont bother to icefish. i went fishing in the keys a couple years ago and that was a blast.
