What is meant by artificial or fake lure?

Please see above post about TN fishing before making a long drive! Global warming is wreaking havoc down here! Minners are jumping out of the lake to warm up in the minner bucket!

Now I'm confused again. Are the jumping things minnows or Asian carp. Here in Illinois any jumping aquatic are Asian carp and not minnows. And... if you are using Asian carp as minnows I'm definitely coming.

I'm not a doctor but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once. It's cabin fever. Been indoors too long and it's time to get some boats out to stretch their legs. If I don't get out SOON my wife may sell me on E-bay.
