Wow! Lew's has always had great products and has for years now . I own several Lew's speed sticks from back in the 70's or 80's and they are just as good today as they were years ago. I no longer bass fish but I will hang on to them for the Grandkids and Great Grandkids as they may want to bass fish one day. Good to know Lew's has a great customer service.
Be safe and good luck fishing
Right, but I'm not understanding if they replaced the piece that broke off or just replaced the whole top 1/2 of the 2-piece rod. I'm assuming if 2 feet of yours was broke off then they replaced the whole top section (1/2 of the rod) correct?

I'm pretty impressed with Lews. I called in for a replacement since I broke 4 inches off the tip of my 10 foot Wally marshal Croppie rod. The tech told me it was going to be less than $10 and I was perfectly happy with that. Then as he was taking my shipping information he asks, "by the way, when did you purchase the rod?" I tell him less than two months ago. He then replied, "tell you what, I'm going to get that out to you for free." Certainly not going to be my last product from Lews. (Lucky for me I purchased 2 of these rods, one for me and one for my dad when he comes along with me, so I've been able to keep fishing while one rod has a broken tip)

I used to fish out of a John boat and left my rods in the boat while trailing. Ended up losing the top half of a wallet marshal crappie rod and called Lews. Great device and shipped me a new one for like $20.
