I love it. I have limited time to go so when I get to go, it is special. Every time I get to the ramp and see the water it takes me back to when I was a kid going with my dad and brother. Now my 3 kids are grown up now and have their own boats. But we still fish together. It's a tradition. Most crappie fishermen I run into on the water are the nicest people. I compete everyday in the market place to make a living. The last thing I want to do on my time off is compete. It's freedom. It's medicine. And I sure do sleep good after a day of fishing. God has given us so much.

The challenge, the thrill of catching, the peace and quiet, enjoying the view of nature that God provided us. Used to Bass fish, casting arm, hand, and shoulder are worn out, so only Crappie fish now.

I got my love for crappie fishing from my dad. But for me I love the taste of crappie and I love seeing that float ease under water real slow.

I Crappie fish because it puts great food on the table and puts my mind at ease whenever I am blessed to go fishing. I see the wonderful handiwork of God the creator and I get away from the "Honey do" list for a few hours.
