I don't store inside, but under cover, and my battery compartment is always propped open for air circulation

For what it's worth, I used before two pro chargers from BPS. Lost to many batteries from over charging. I am now using a Min Kota charger, I think it's a Mk 318. I lost one battery as I didn't check the water level, not very bright on my part.
