One more thing BPS has the gen3 charger for $289.99, free shipping, they also have price match and.... they are running 6 pay right now until 3/27/17. I think I will pay them a visit this wknd with the bad weather coming in this wknd.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

There can be 2 caveats in a multi-bank charger used for combination TM battery(s) and starting/electronics/Accessories battery(s) ...

    1. Interference can back-feed from the TM thru the charger and encroach into electronics displays as RFI ...

    2. If 1 bank dies = you are out of charging capability while the charger is being replaced/repaired ... 2 separate chargers (1 for TM batteries and 1 for other batteries) still leaves a working charger in the boat while 1 charger is being replaced/repaired ...

    Default 3 bank charger

I'm on my second Minn Kota three bank charger that has dropped a bank outside of the warranty period. I've had great luck in the past with ProMariner chargers (that also makes the BassPro XPS series) and that is what I'm replacing the MK with this weekend.

With no personal experience with Noco chargers, they do appear to have very good reviews of their products on other marine forums.

I just bought the PRO 20 3 bank charger from BPS anyone used them. I have a 1996 190zx Skeeter with the original 2 bank Skeeter charger and it still works but it doesn't do very well on OPTIMA batteries and is verrrry slow charging.

I installed my 3/30 last night along with two new AC Delco's. I plugged it up last night at 10ish and the charger was showing charged @ 5:30. Fished half a day without a hitch.
    So far so good

I recently upgraded from a 24v TM to a 36 and did a lot of research on chargers. I wanted to go with a NOCO and a bunch of recommendations and reviews. Unfortunately I could not fit it in the space I had. The one in the boat was a Promariner 10 amp, 2 bank. I ended up buying a second one, exact same model, to service the other TM and starter battery. Everything works pretty well so far. I generally have at least 12 hours between fishing time so the 5 amp banks work well for me, plus I have been told the slower charging possibly extends battery life. After reading Rickie's comments I will do some testing on the fish finders to be sure, but don't believe I am getting interference.

I was told you should not mount the charger inside the battery compartment bc of releases of gases etc from charging will cause damage to the charger over time. I currently have not mounted mine yet because of this. The leads that came with it are to short mount it anywhere besides in the battery compartment. It even warns of this on the charger box but I have no idea where to mount one.

My owners manual for the chargers state to charge the batteries in well ventilated area. Since I store my boat in the garage I keep the batter compartment open all the time, although with a 4 or 5 AMP charger I think it would be ok, especially when the charger goes into to maintenance mode. I also ready the 10 amps will create more heat in the battery while charging and could create more dangerous gases. I would guess there would be a lot of variables which determine how much gas is actual created; outside temp, battery state when charging, battery fluid level, type, etc.
