We're hunkering down in far western KY for the various pockets to move over our area tonight. We're supposed to get hammered too. Best of luck to all.

First wave has passed. Sounds like 4 dead.

we got it around 2 am. Power has been out since then. Thankfully, I have a good generator. Many big trees down blocking the road at the lake where I live. Me and my neighbors are getting together with our chain saws to start clearing the road. Luckily, there doesn't seem to be much significant damage to homes. Hope you all are safe and OK.

Corrected news report now claims 1 death instead of 4. Better but still terrible.

We had confirmed 84mph winds here in Benton about 5:30 this morning. Lots of tree and roof damage. We are having an early spring and all the Bradford pear trees are full bloom. They don't call them "self pruners" for nothing.
