[QUOTE=Alphahawk;3326963]I know you asked about Arctic Armor but check out Striker Ice. It is top notch gear....bibs run large....parka is true to size....cheaper than Arctic Armor....or was when I bought last year. The Hard Water line up will keep you warm no matter what....maybe too warm.

Any downside you see with your Stiker, I'm looking to get some kind of suit and everything I've read about striker was good? Thanks.

I have the Stryker Ice Duck Blind suit and pleased with them. They are supposed to keep you afloat for 30 minutes. They have so many pockets I loose track of where I put things LOL.

It is quality gear. I don't know about it floating but keeps you warm and dry. My son is using for his annual winter camping trip.

Do you recall off hand which style you have, Gaurdian, Predator, Hardwater, Climate, etc. I'm just curious about warmth. There are no dealers in my area to compare. Thanks.

The Predator.....I don't think you will get cold in it...LOL. Really it is very warm. I can't imagine anyone getting cold in it even in extreme cold.

I just purchased the striker ice set based on what I read on ice fishing websites. Bought mine from gander mountian with 15% off and free shipping. Ran 340.00 for predator bibs and coat. I'm 6ft 180 lbs. I bought large bibs and ex large coat. Fit is perfect and length of bibs can be adjusted. Haven't been out in them but with -11 last night and high 3 today I think I will be on the ice this week and will give a review.

I also just purchased Striker ice climate suit, parka and bibs. I fish all winter and like the idea of taking out the inner layer for not so cold fishing.

I got my set over 6 years ago. Keeps me plenty warm. Ice fished sunrise to sunset with no shelter and was plenty warm. 14 degrees, 30mph winds with blowing snow and sleet. I even took a nap laying in my sled. The only problem I had was taking it off since my zippers were frozen.

Ordered the Artic Armour Pro suit today, from Pro Fishing Supply. Look forward to trying it out the next couple of months👍
