The 12 volt system uses 1/4 amps. I have a group 27 marine battery and with my 8 amp. battery charger it brings it to full charge and shuts off on it's own automatically even with the pump running.

    • 12V air pump
    • Operated on 1/4 amp
    • Can be easily wired to boat panel

Complete kit includes pump with 6' power cord and copper battery clips, 10' airline tubing, antisiphon valves, and large air stones.

Be safe and good luck fishing

I run the air pump.....fish finders.....and live well all day off my starting battery and still have plenty of battery to start engine.....I also sometimes plug my phone charger in power port on boat. You dont really need a inverter.

I fished all week last week with a guy who ran a pump out of the rear compartment of an 18' boat with no issue. He bought aquarium tubing from Wal-Mart and some anti-siphon valves to hook it all up with. Tubing ran on the inside of the boat next to wires with an anti-siphon where he popped it out. Hooked right up with a shorter piece of aquarium tubing to his cooler and it bubbled all day. Never heard a thing from the pump or had to deal with worrying about batteries. He ran a larger system at camp to have water recycling to rid the larger tank of ammonia instead of just using a bubbler system there. I plan on running one on my boat soon to the inside wall of the passenger console.

Look into a Pro-Air 12v system. I run this and its more than plenty of air for the live wells (and I have 40 gallon divided well) and I can T into the line for minnows if needed and still have plenty of air

For noise the Frabil Live bait aerator at Walmart is pretty dang quiet. It's also very easy on the batteries. I replaced my engel bait cooler air pumps with these units, and I'm satisfied. They are so quiet I often check to see if they are running. Plus with these you dont have to leave the bait buckets in the boat like you have to when using an onboard 12 v pump. For 11$ they are hard to beat.
