Great K. Is that charcoal, graphite, or other? And by the way, I need a little "touch up" on my pondtoon. You da man.

Fantastic. Possibly my favorite. Would be nice if you compiled a few and put them on one thread.Maybe do a poll for favorite. We could call it a contest and I would randomly pick a winner from the posts and award a Bobby Garland prize pack. Glad the crawfish I eat are boiled, so I can't scare them. Just sayin.....

Thanks for the response and comment. I deliberately tried to get a more aggressive expression without overdoing it like I have on some in the past.

Thanks for the kind words. Composing thoughts and translating them to paper and into drawings is really the fun part of the whole thing. I believe an artistic expression of any kind is always best if it can elicit some thoughts or feelings from the person(s) who see it.

Well done thou good and faithful servant.
I too certainly do give thanks to God for (both) His Creation and for His granting me the ability to attempt to re-create His awesome creatures and other aspects of His Creation and use them to share with others to glorify Him and hopefully bring a smile to everyone who can relate in some way to the expressions I do or the stories I tell in them or along with them. I truly believe that memories of awesome times gone by and of learning about God's awesome creation is what truly builds character and helps people find their true center... because as you so well know... the Truth will set you free... (free indeed).

Also, I would have to agree with a few of you when you say this is one of my best yet... which makes me believe I am getting better at something I certainly love to do. Thanks Mike for all of your ongoing and continuous support.

That was the hope brother. I appreciate your comment and the idea that it brought that smile.

It is actually colored pencil CP. The colors however do not do well during the photo and uploading process, so I normally reduce them to sepia color or black and white to preserve the detail and integrity of the drawing. I'm sure there is some process whereby I can preserve more during that transition. Hopefully I will learn it soon or else I'm just going to go back to sepia and a variety of graphite drawing pencils.
About the toon touchup: Sure, as long as I can do your touch up work with colored pencils... I feel sure you'll be real happy with the outcome. Of course you will have to pay to have me shipped both ways and provide all of the food and beverages required for such a job... as it does seem to make me hungry and real thirsty.

Appreciate the idea "D" and the kind words about the drawing. Perhaps I can put something together along that line and we can figure some kind of a contest to give away something... perhaps even the collection of prints themselves that the winner could frame and put up in his man cave.
