Range cubes are used to feed cattle (and fish) just throw out into the water. Hen scratch is regular chicken feed that you put in a plastic bucket, add water and let sit until it sours, ruins or "ferments" Primarily for catfish. Smells a lot like "corn mash" moonshiners use to make bootleg whiskey. (That's what I've been told...) Not that I would know anything about "white lightnin" being from Arkansas...
