Artificial Minnows

Gulp Alive minnow work great for me! I usually put them on a 1/16oz. or 1/8oz. jig head. The only complaint I have is that darn liquid they are in, that stuff makes a mess and stinks up your hands. Now I use some needlenose pliers to grab them out of the juice. I had a jar leak inside a tackle box and man it made a mess. But the stuff works, just like crappie nibbles do. The scent can make a huge difference on certain days.

I carry Nitrile gloves in my boat for this very reason. Not that my fingers don't already smell (taco's, burrito's, fish sandwhich...) but I like those smells!
