When I first noticed something was causing the jig to not feel right, I figured I had hooked a leaf or something. Then, I noticed it was a tiny fish and my first thought was shad. Only after a closer look did I actually realize it was indeed a baby crappie. Hated to kill the little guy, but he unfortunately did not survive being foul hooked. I don't think I've ever even had one that small in my hand like that. That will probably never happen again and I would bet not many have ever or will ever jig one up any smaller. May as we'll take my place in the record books! GTT
