Outlaw crappie and walleye rods are the way to go i have a 8' and 6-14' charlie hildreth signature series and they put the BnM poles to shame Outlaw Crappie and Walleye Poles

I love my 8ft UL Okuma Celilo. I use it for casting small bream jigs with a fixed Trout Magnet float. Great tip action and also good backbone. Not stiff at all but no wet noodle either. QUALITY!!!

My 8' rods are Gander Mountain Advantage series and really like them.

I use and really like the Shakespeare Crappie Hunter Graphite poles. They're in the neighborhood of $20 with a Tiny Lite underspin reel. Don't mark them off the list just because they don't cost much. They are as light and sensitive as any rod I've found locally.
