Lowrance 332C is the choice for me..Absolutely no problems with the unit.

The 332C is my choice also. Now they come with the internal antenna and duel frequency although not necessary.

    Trolling Minnow,
You made a good choice. I think you will be very happy with the 332c once you get it set up and get use to using it. Great unit.
Have a crappie day!:D [email protected]

Well. I went with the LCX-25C with GPS when I got my new boat last Feb.
Loved it, however, had purchased one of those adapter plates from Cabela's where you mount under the unit with antenna puck mounted just behind the unit.
The unit always seemed to go through a lost signal/acquired signal thing most of the time.
One time I was anchored up fishing and the thing showed me approaching myself from approx 1/4 mile away at 17 MPH !
After talking with the fellows at West Marine where I purchased the unit, they suggested I move the antenna away from the unit, which I did, long story short, didn't help.
They got me a replacement unit and antenna, since then it has been rock solid !
One thing I do now is, cut it off when I'm not underway/using fishfinder.
Was a bit of an aggrivation at first but, love it today ! ! (especially the 7" screen).
"Teach a man to fish = he can feed himself "
"Teach the world to fish = you won't have any fish left to eat "
