Hey bud we tried to manufacture here in the US. But we could not keep our prices low enough for you guys. So we teamed up with some factories in different countries. Also on the fading our line does fade some we been getting that problem fixed every run we make. If you leave in direct sun light it will fade with in few days. Every braided line on the market in hi viz will get that way. We think we have came up with a solution. Thanks Josh

Yes, I have. Here we have 100 degree + days, 90+ degree surface temps and if I fish hard all day, in and out the rod eyes, it does fade. So I cut off about 10' or so after a long hard days fishing. You asked about the orange tang. I used it for about 3-4 months last year. I usually won't say anything negative about a product, because everyone has their personal fav's and it is all about choices, but I had the same bad results combined with all the other negatives of twist, memory etc. Also, it would lose strength after a while.

Like we were saying, nuthin's perfect. I heard when I was first starting out to always have fresh line on. We spend all that time, energy, effort and expense just to get to the lake, why would we want to have cheap line as the only thing between us and the fish. It made sense to me. For mono, i was constantly respooling to get rid of memory and line twist. I also used various sprays and such, kept my rods in the house... like I say, I've tried most everything. I've got a pretty good collection of all the stuff I have tried and then I give it away for others to experiment.
If it's the dye that makes it suppler, then I'll put up with fade. I just know it handles easier and I can tie my simple loop knot like I did with mono. Fast/easy/quick - boom, back in the water fishing. I fish tournaments, so I want to maximize my time IN the water when I am ON the water. LOL

For me the biggest selling point is the feel. You feel e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. So, to me, fishing brush, timber, trees, laydown and all kinds of structure.... with the wind blowing and the boat moving... I can now feel when I come in contact with anything -but- a fish. Just as important of knowing when to set the hook, is when not to.
I know it's psychological, but I can tell when a crappie is looking at my jig. LOL ... or breathing on it. But, seriously, I had to think if the strength, bright arse color or feel was most important... and I would say the feel. The other two are a very, very close second.
I have prolly tried 30-40 lines over the years, and was well pleased - and surprised - by this one. I thought I would share a good experience. I'm sure glad i decided to give this a try, cause usually I would shy away from any braid. I pretty much hated it. LOL Too stiff, cut my fingers, impossible to tie, not any where near bright enough... it just felt like I was using well rope. sharp well rope...

Power pro green will hold up under pressure and every day use on a spincast pickup pins, power pro yellow will not.The pickup pins will flatten alot if different braids...
Will your braid hold up and stay round or will the pickup pins on a spincast flatten it.....

We have not had any complaints yet about that. I have not noticed any flatting on it yet.

I'm pleased with power pro green but would like a yellow or orange braid that would not flatten.I'm a line watcher on each cast, the green is hard to see until it fades alittle. The pickup pins will flatten some braids to the point you can see the wedding coming apart.
Next time I go for lures I'll see if they have the orange and let you know....
