In need of some quick advice. Heading down to Grenada Lake MS this weekend on a trip that was planned since our last visit a year ago.. It's calling for 70% rain on Friday and 50% on Saturday.. Last year it was 80 degrees and sunny, fishing was great during spawn.. Any ideas or tips that could help make our 7 hour trip still worth it?

Thanks! How bad do you think the biting will slow down in the middle of the rain.. do you have any tips for fishing the lake in the rain?
Doubt the rain will change anything here any different than it does anywhere else, fish aleady wet. Just do your thing they will be doing theirs, gonna be cool today and tomorrow, dont be shy about pulling back to a little deeper water, fesh will most likely have aleady done this. Good luck and safe travels

Rain also means runoff, and at grenada that can turn the water into chocolate milk... Tip jigs with minnows or crappie nibbles. I always liked the large minnows...
Thanks for the advice, any more help would be great... Trying to make the best of my trip even though its going to be horrible weather
