Crappie Maxx or Wally Marshall. Buy a net cause you gonna rip some lips on crappie.
Can you guys make some suggestions on a 10 to 12 jig pole that has solid backbone? I want to be able to easily lift the rod tip and swing the fish in the boat.

B&M Richard Williams or B&M Sam Heaton, both excellent sensitive tip for the lightest bite and Backbone to lift em in,not to mention if matched with a ultralite reel, very well balanced and light,as to not to tire you out. Go to Grizzly jig.com, they carry them both.

the 9 sam super sensitive will swing in a 1.5lb crappie..have done it too many times to ever doubt it again. I like the 9 because it is SO much lighter than the 10..but dont be skeered of it, i promise you it will swing em in. the 10 sams it fine, i have one too but its like a post next to the 9. best rod i ever used
The 10' Pro Angler will swing 2 lb+ crappie over the gunnel... so will the 8' Pro Angler.

I would go to a BPS or Academy Sports and compare these rods to see which fits your needs.
