If money is not an option. Buy the Biggest Ranger you can afford, and be done with it.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I bought a TA196 Triton this spring. I am not sure yet if I like it or not. Has a 150 Merc on the back, plenty fast enough for me. Started spider rigging for the first time in my life. Not sure if I like that method or not. The Triton is a big heavy glass boat that will no doubt take rough water. Storage is limited due to the front being set up for two men up front sitting side by side. Plenty of room for that. Has a front livewell that is handy, along with a cooler that I will probably will convert to storage going forward. I looked at a lot of boats before buying the Trition. There are a bunch of nice aluminum boats out there set up for spider rigging. However, not many glass boats made for crappie fishing. Perhaps the Crappie Masters boat can still be ordered.
