I think I see the ads in the left-hand margin (the dating/etc site ads) when I'm not logged-on. (I thought it was kind of funny actually, because on top of the ad it said something like "Forum Members". I thought "Geez, the members of this forum are pretty nice looking!")

I don't see the ads on my main computer because it automatically logs me in when I open crappie.com.

Whether I'm logged in or not, I do see a square ad on the right-hand side of the first post on a page. Amazing how the ad is always selling something I've recent searched for.

I'd never seen that until I did a little looking. But I don't understand why I need to become a supportor; to not see ad's that has nothing to do with this type of forum. I'm not against being a supporter but I don't make or try to make any moneys off this sight, I like it but if I had to pay to be on here then I'll be gone. Pay to look at fishing reports or pictures don't get me wrong there's good info and good people on here and helpful folks but it ain't worth having to pay to read or look at.

I think you are missing the point of supporting. There are great people and good info, but supporting the site based on the content alone is not enough. What this site has to offer goes way beyond the posts and the pics. Look a little deeper my friend.

I am a supporter (sponsor), logged in, and still see them sometimes. I just overlook them but it does look bad when my wife walks up and see's the girls on the side of the page...
