Still making MeanV's everyday. Asked Santa for a New boat and Lo & Behold He said Sure!! I expected a Ho Ho Ho, Ha, Ha, Ha!!

I wondered if that could be you over here from AT.

Take Care! Hope to see you around here often. I am normally hanging on the IL board most of the time.

Sounds like you are in a good spot! Fishing MS is on my bucket list. I still Bowhunt just fish too! Bowhunting is my first Love and won't quit until health forces me, not after 45 years. Freezer is full of deer & crappie. just the way I like it.

Well Dan,,,, Thats because Illinois is on everyone's bucket list for deer,,, that place has some whoppers man,,,, I if I wasn't getting so wrapped up into this boating crapp, my wife might let me hunt as well,,,,we have a nice small farm in the Ozark mountains,,,, salem ark to be exact!!! It a beautiful place but the largest deer taken last year was only a 193 in our county,,,, I'm sure in Illinois, That number was doubled,, lol,,, what kind of boat did you order anyway? I'm sure it's gonna be nice,,,

IL has big deer in places but it is a whole new game for residents than it was 15 years ago. Outfitters, ground leased up, and sheer numbers of hunters. There are not a very big percentage of hunters that kill any big monsters, but they always make the headlines. I will just keep killing 130 to 150 bucks and be content.

I have been through Salem several, several times on my way to Mountain Home, AR (Dad has a place there) small world.

I talked to several Ranger dealers and Bass Cat dealers, & went down and toured the plant. It was an obvious choice IMO, and had nothing to do with $$$. I could have traded for a Ranger for less money which surprised me, but as I found out they are not the same company they were a few years ago. We both know about companies selling out to big Corporate and that bringing on a change. I am not sure when I will take delivery but it should be worth the wait.

    Default 24' Pontoon

Boat had a 115 Mariner I swapped it out with a 140 HP Evinrude, Livewell, trolling motor, 2 fish finders and 4 fishing seats.
Wrapped with LED UV Black Lights also has Green Led Lights underneath
She's an older boat (1993) but it will get it done

You could put a bunch of rod holders on that baby. Perfect for pullin cranks
