This is a 2008 Triton VT-17 with a mercury 50hp motor. Humminbird electronics and a 8' power pole. I would like to upgrade the motor to a 75hp optimax in the middle of the year.

I was going to buy a Triton VT17(they are called Crestliner now) when I bought my Tracker, but the dealership didnt have time to fax my paperwork to my bank for 3 straight days, so I bought a Tracker. I liked that boat more than mine. If i were you I would check out the 60hp 4 stroke. I test drove both and liked the 4 alot better. In your boat you only gain about 3 mph topend and a little better holeshot, but the fuel economy wasnt even close.

PS, how do you like the power pole, maybe what I buy me for Fathers day.
