I did but never will again! I got mine through the mail and I had to email them several times to get the lost issues!! Never again!!! I buy mine off the shelf when I'm in Wal-mart if there is something in there worth reading! This is my two cents!

They put out a mag for each season which is 4 magazines a year. Once you read one you have all the info in them. Just keep repeating same articles. EB

I had been a subscriber to Crappie World for a number of years. In it's early days it was very good. When I would send for a subscription a "free jig kit" offer was included. BUT, they never sent any jigs, just a post card saying they would be sent later. After three times not receiving their so called free offer, I wrote them. They ignored me ! So I called them to let them know I would notify the postal service of mail fraud. Only then did I receive two of three they owed me. I cannot fault the writers of the publication. They did their job well. Use your own discression after what I have told you. I do find Crappie Angler magazine to be of a higher quality and will continue to subscribe to them, as they are really the Grizzly Gig folks. I have met them and know they are respectable and reputable .

Crappie World / Bassin was sold recently to a new owner. They are offering a deal to join both magazines for life for $99. You get a box full of free bass lures, shirt, magazines for life and 20% off on their online store. I joined. The box of baits I received was pretty nice. Some were sample packs but most were retail lures. They claim a $100 value on the box of lures, but that's a stretch. Easily $50 and worth the gamble with 2 lifetime subs to magazines. Hopefully the new owner is better with the service. The 1 time I talked to them they were extremely nice and helpful. Time will tell.

How long ago was it? I'll definitely let you know if I get mine. I ordered the lifetime Bassin / Crappie World a few weeks ago. So far I received the promo items but haven't received the magazine. In all fairness, I was told the initial order would be 4 to 6 weeks which is normal. My curiosity is peaked though. I'm going to check out the other mags as well.

My subscription expired in 2006. Renewed but never got anymore magazines.
Wrote them off and subscribed to In-Fisherman. Gonna check out Grizzly's site and
look at what they got to offer.
