Going to LOP this weekend- Never fished it. Where is a good place to put in and what part to fish. Please help.

I put in at Alley creek. Go to the main lake and fish the deeper timber - over 15 ft. Don't stay at 1 tree too long even if you catch a fish. White and Chartreuse jigs were the ticket for us. Tipped with minnows.

We had good luck from the jetti coming off the east side just before leaving into the main lake. they like drop offs like that. Watch the locals too. Mom & Pop had their fav bp on the other side and they never left it.
Also head right out of the creek and look for standing timber in the middle of the lake.
