I use the Modified Albright / Alberto for backing to braid and braid to fluoro connections. Looks more complicated than it really is. I've been using it over a year now tying 10# Fireline to 8# fluoro and haven't broke a line to leader connection yet.

Thanks for the posts. Great info. I used the uni to uni but the Albright will get my nod the next time I tie a leader to my Crankin rods with braid. What crappiepappy said when tying to the backing. (He always writes a book) LOL
