Sounds like a great idea. Rod holder, cup holder, an odds and ends tray. Makes much more sense now

I don't know if you all read my "updated Rules of Conduct - particularly advertising" thread here on the main board. But this thread, kinda got me thinking about making those updates, and allowing new Member Sponsors to introduce themselves here the way SpiderKingRodHolders has. I think it's only fair that they are allowed a thread to introduce themselves when they sign up. Welcome to the site SpiderKingRodHolders.

I think the name "Spider" used in the same sentence with "rod holder" makes crappie fishermen think of spider rigging. And your rod holder aint gonna cut it for that.

I would probably just use it as a rod holder while retying after breaking off , the drink holder would be nice as I would not have to lean over to get my coffee or whatever I was drinking at the time. I would think everytime you moved (swung around) in the seat, the rod would move and cause more problems than it was worth imo.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

The second thing is, to have a place for your drink and tackle and it be next to you. You also can use the single rod holder to the rear of the seat and combine it with an out rigger, this will allow you to have a place to put a net, umbrella, and/or another rod n reel.

To say that it isn't well thought out is a little harsh, isn't it.
On your website it shows pictures of 8 rods and rodholders on 1 seat. It seems you are implying these rod holders are useful for spider rigging. They're not. That is why you are getting the harsh comments.

yeah I can't see where the 8 rod holders attached to the seat would be advantageous for anyone, I like the single pole one off to the side, just to stick a pole in when I am retying or taking a fish off. I have the drink caddy from WISE, attaches to my seat, holds 2 drinks and has a tray in the middle, 9$. welcome to the board and good luck.
I clever quip fishing ironic statement crappie!

frog, it's easy to make one with pvc and a few fittings. got the idea for mine from a big turtle i met in the middle of a gravel road.

and spider, i like the idea of the one for one pole and the drink holder and the tackle holder. for my fishing those would be the ones to help.
