drive. lol
At the end of the month my son and I will be flying down to Florida to see my parents. Will be crappie fishing every day on the St. Johns River. I want to send a couple of my poles down there but want them to arrive in one piece. What advice can you give?

u can get the cardboard tubes and put the rods in.shipping would be about $8 per rod then you have to ship them back.thats about as much as i can tell you.somebody on here will know exactly how to do it
heck just buy some down there and leave them at your parents house thats probably gonna be cheaper than have them shipped
fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count
Like G3 says, you can make your own tubes with PVC or ABS pipe. Or, you can buy tubes at Cabelas or Bass Pro. Either way, I'd wrap the poles in a towel or bubble wrap and secure it with string or tape.
See here for several examples:

I have the Bazooka but the reviews for shipping aren't soo good! Might go the pvc route.
