Here's my 15 foot wide-body Alumacraft. I restored it from a hulk of a boat about like azslabber is his.
Fun project but I am glad it is over.

    Default The Crappie Tracker

Here's my pride and joy. A 1988 Bass Tracker FS 1800 with a Mercury 150. It's not a new boat, but it's in pretty good shape and heck of a lot nicer to fish out of than the 1436 jon boat I had before. The little jon boat was a breeze to get back and forth to the lake but it just wasn't stable enough for my likings.

The boat has been recarpeted and the front deck was extended back to the consoles by the previous owner. I really like the big platform up front for jigging and what little bass fishing I do. Most of the time we tightline and you can see from the pictures how the rod holders are set up for that.

AZ, You have my vote to remove the middle seat too. Then cover the ribs with some sheet metal so no tripping over them. My last jon had that done and I liked it a lot more. My live well was a 48qt cooler.

Here's my rig. I run the Gasconade and Osage Rivers around home quite a bit and a jet boat is needed.

    2008 1852 Legend SS hull
2008 115/80hp Evinrude Etec outboard jet
55# Minnkota Edge trolling motor (want to upgrade to a 24v 80# Minnkota someday)
Lowrance LCX-17m fish finder (want to put on front and get 998c for rear)
I need to get some more rod holders for it and get it setup a bit better for the crappie and catfishing.
