Any place for crappie fishing this time of year in Rhode Island?

They wouldn't let you bring your fishing stuff on the plane? First time I've ever heard of fishing lures being confiscated.

I guess the airport securely really wanted to make sure I won't able to catch/hook up any of those pretty lady flight attendants on the flight?:-)

I do some slabs fishing frequently on Lake Simcoe, and did once on Lake Scugog (ice fishing winter time). For me, it is a "hit and miss". Sometime good, other time nothin'...
