My heart goes out to the unfortunate... but I can't see how some can be so blind to the obvious conditions/events going on around them!

Dang it!... keep an eye to the TV, internet, look out the windows every hour or so!!!... you see the water rising and the TV/weater radar says it aint going to quit for a while, head to higher ground!!!

... an idgit galoot could figure that one out!!!

Beyond words, man you folks sure got hit harder than hard. Sure feel sorry for you. Pray for you all and please be careful in that water, you don't know what is in it. Could get hit by log anything. Up here in Illinois some older parts of city basements will flood & then you always read about someone going in flooded basement & gets electrocuted.

Wolf river runs thru N. Ms into Tn. and thru a part of Memphis will crest tonight at 25ft a 100yr high. Since fri Arkabutla has jumped up 11ft.+.So far i dont think we have any fatalities.A lot of folks have had every thing they own washed away. Its pretty sad.

a guy at work lives close to my sister and said he was measuring water from creek to fondation of his house and it was 30inches.he checked it every 15 minutes for about an hour and a half with no change.he went outside to measure it again and it was 3inches up the blocks on the fondation and luckely the other side of the creek took most of the water.so 15minutes and that much difference and if the water didn`t have somewhere to go on the other side of the creek it would have been alot worse

The creek that runs through my hometown had it's levee breached in three different places, flooding everywhere. My grandparents neighborhood and my parent's neighborhood were flooded pretty bad but luckily both their houses stayed dry, the grandparents had water about 3 feet from their back door before it started receding. We went over and moved all their furniture upstairs and in the hour it took us to do it the water rose 3 inches in their backyard. My parents neighborhood has gone to crap in the last 10 years and the police pretty much declared marshal law over there for the past couple days. 7pm-7am curfew, checkpoints at all entrances to the neighborhood and if you did not live there you were not getting in. They still caught 4 looters so far. There is a funeral home near my grandparent's house that had water all the way to the top of it's doors. My mom works civil service on the Navy base and most of the base is flooded, she still does not know when they are going to let them go back to work.
    I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
