Walk thru or multi species boat for all around fishing. Can handle big water easily and can accomodate all types of fishing styles. EB

The Crappie boat that Ranger used to make is really hard to beat for fishability. If you can find a used one it would be worth your time to take a look at it

I saw the War Eagle Predator on line the other day and it looked like a very good set up for crappie fishing.

I am well pleased with my Ranger Angler 1760. It rides great, handles the wind and bad water really well. It has a Mercury Optimax 115 on it and will run about 42 mph loaded down with fishing gear and full live wells.

Just bought a Predator and got it with a barely used Johnson saltwater 115 that had only been used in fresh water with a hds 10 at console and hds 7 at front both on the structure scan. I can't get the fool thing on the water because of work and all the weather last 2 weekends. I really think it will be a ideal setup. The 115 is a very low profile and I'm juiced about being able to cast off the back without hitting the motor. Had a fish and ski with no room up front. The fit and finish, layout and price can't be beat.

prtly, what price range does the predator run new with a 115. I hate when dealers do not really list prices. Please let us know how you like it when you get to use it. Those look like a great crappie boat. I am seriously considering going to look at one.

I think around 21 outright for starters but I didn't haggle from there as he had a used motor on his sight and I had the fish and ski as a trade so I don't know. I feel like I could probably have done a little better but I was smitten and he had it in stock.

Im looking for something that you can spider rig, long line troll, and shoot docks. I like to be sitting down in the boat rather than sitting real high on a deck, that way your closer to rods/water and where i can get a good angle to shoot docks when the sun gets up.
