I have always used 6lb mono and never had an issue with it.
Was wondering what lines people preferred for crappie. I bass fish a ton and love chasing crappie. I have always just used 6lbs mono for crappie never had any problems, But i have started using some of the superlines and flurocarbon bass fishing and have noticed some huge advantages to using those. Im thinking about giving the fluro a try this spring.

If I'm pitching a cork I like Stren Clear Blue Florescent #6 If I'm vertical jigging over 15' deep. I like the Stren Super Braid Hi Vis Yellow #8 a lot more sensitive. I have been wanting to try some of the Stren Fluro Carbon but have not yet. Do you know if you can get the Stren Fluro in Hi Vis Yellow?
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Suffix Siege smoke green. Best I've ever used.
I use Vicious 8lb panfish yellow hi-vis line. Works great. Caught a bunch this weekend with it.
