    The link says that they are compatible with other name brand rearming kits. Do you have to buy a specific kit? If so how do you know which one to buy? Thanks for the link

    Size of the CO2 bottle I believe dictates the kit in most cases. I could be wrong.

    Is there some kinda of expiration on the vest ? I mean do you have to re-arm these after a certain amount of time?

    Just ordered 2 of these and they were instock and should ship today if they dont get the blizzard that is forecasted. Couldnt get website up but had sent and email to cust svc and they replied and then I called the 800 #. Here is the number if anyone needs it :800-628-8225

    Most have a five year replacement time unless activated . Thing to look at is well it inflate with rain. Hydrostatic inflatable can be submersed in 4' of water without inflating. Check the cost of the co2 kits and decide if it is worth the lower cost or just to bite the bullet and go with the hydrostatic and never have to worry about the rain, blowing out of the boat while fishing, whatever could get it wet.. I have heard of 2 guys that fell overboard with the lower cost inflatables and they did not inflate. They were complaining on bbc about them not working.
