I have never understood why people tell me my handles are on the wrong side. Mine are the same way, and I am right handed. To me, that is the way it should be. You are basically reeling the same way you would with a baitcaster just that the reel is is flipped. I was wondering about the rod holders myself. Do those hold the rods in pretty tight? Looks to me as if a fish could jerk them right out as it seems there is nothing there to block it, am I missing something?

Those are much like the Hi-Tek that I just bought and yes, they hold tight. That vinyl coating and the downward angle cause the holders to really hold on tightly.

Pictures like that sunset make me hate my truck, but a fat boy like me's gotta eat. Good trip and fish to boot. Good deal.
