Good job Whiskers.
There are programs to help other young people in need. Check around your neighborhood. Couple of them that come to mind are;
Boy and Girl Scouts. They have lots of underpriveleged kids that would love to go to camp, however thier family cant afford it. The units are always looking for donations to send these deserving kids to camp. Most of the time your an anounamous donor.
Check with your local churches, they adopt needy families, especially during the holidays.
Toys for Tots- Contact your local Marine Corp recruiter, he/she can put you in touch with the local unit. Nothing more exciting for youngtesrs than to get something on Christmas. Most underpriveleged kids get hats, glooves, and clothes as Cristmas presents. Not much of a Chrsitmas is it?
Then you can always adopt a needy family.
With the economy as it is, there will be plenty this year.
There are others, however I am not familiar with them.
Good job Whiskers. glad to see your doing something nice for a deserving young man. May God Bless you and your wife. This young man has found a couple of gaurding angles.
