    Default Electric Chicken?

Would any one be willing to post a pic of what they call "electric chiken", the color of the jig that is so often mentioned? I have seen it come up a hundred times and i just don't know what it is. If i had to guess i would say pink and blue sparkle, only because i have some of those and they look electric to me...I appreciate any help in advance.

Actually they are pink and chartruese. If my tackle box wasn't under my boat cover I would take a pic and post it. I will see if I can find a link for you. I think if you search for Bobby Garland lures you could probably pull it up. http://www.bobbygarlandcustombait.com
then select bobby garland crappie baits from the left side menu then 2" baby shad and there is a color chart highlight one and click and it will increase the size

I use some of the baby shad shape ,but I like the slab slayer style better. I've done really well on the 3in. version this year. They seem to like that long quivering tail.
The fish were bitting yesterday, The fish will bite tomorrow,,, today I must buy my fish

Seriously, the best jigs you can use are the one's you paint yourself. To me, I like a jig that is one solid color. I don't like the eyes on them or anything else for that matter. 1/16th in water below 12 to 14 ft & 1/32 for 12 & shallower is the general rule I use.

I use the slab slayer some too. I have caught some good fish on both. One thing though, if you use the slab slayer, then you need to check your bait every once in a while b/c the tail will " fold & stick" to the body sometimes. But those two styles is pretty much all I fish with in the winter trolling.

    I've used pink/white, pink/black....but never that one...

What kind of water coloration is that combo good in?

    vs. bright and overcast lighting?

I really don't know what coloration its good for, I have about 8 different colors that I use all the time and every now and then I throw one of them on just to see..
